Nope. Unlike the WSJ, access to the NYT on-line version is
free, even to people who "disagree violently with it's
editorial opinions and ownership." But you do have to
register.

Well, it's free to register. So in fact you will be causing
them additional cost for which they will get nothing in
return if you do sign up.

My last experience with a beltway restaurant was one that
made PB&J sandwiches for the kids on stale bread. Does
Ladysmith qualify as NOVA?

Great! Hope you can get a copy of the article in .pdf format to share
with us. I'm assuming one has to subscribe online to the New York
times in order to access the article. However as you can probably
guess, I don't read that rag and disagree violently with it's editorial
opinions and ownership.

And if I'm ever in your area, I'll take you to my favorite
German style restaurant in your city out on Eastern Avenue.
Know which one I mean?

Default New York Times Article on MTM

The New York Times sent a photographer out to see me today
to get a photo for David Cay Johnston's article on MTM. So
the article might be published as early as this weekend.

The photographer is a real nice guy. He also publishes a
restaurant guide for Maryland, D.C., and Northern VA. If
you live in that area, go to www.zagat.com/survey and
share your opinions about restaurants where you have dined
in the last 12 months. Survey closes on March 14th and all
participants will receive a free copy of the next issue of
the guide to be published in September!!

My three favorite four-letter words are: Love, Free, and Cash!
