| I work as a network engineer and a high speed Internet connection is a necessary part of my job. As such, my employer reimburses me, 6 months at a time, for the cost of my cable Internet bill. It shows up on my paystub as a non-taxable expense reimbursement. However, I only have one Internet connection at home, so I use the same connection for personal and business use. I have no accounting for the percentage of the time for each usage. Should I count all the reimbursement as other income on line 21 of my 1040? Thanks Andy << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
