Well, let's put it this way. They are legitimate
expenditures. However not against corporate income, but
rather like some other items, a flow through to the
shareholder(s).

The contribution on Form 1120S will not be treated as a
deduction. The contribution will be shown on the
corporation's K-1s and be a deduction for the individuals.

I have an S-corp and would like to make a charitable
donation from this S-corp. Are charitable donations from an
S-corp a legitimate deduction?
