Yes. Until age 19, it doesn't matter what she makes or what
she does.

From ages 19 to 24, then she needs to be a full time student
for you to be able to claim her regardless of her income.

Otherwise, the amount of income matters. In this situation,
that will depend on whether or not the scholarship is
taxable.

My daughter is a 18-year-old college student. She made
$2,100 in 2003 from working (Form W-2), and $2,871
scholarship (Form 1098-T).

We understand that she still need to file a 1040EZ, but just
states that she is claimed by somebody else as dependent.
In our 1040 we can claim her as dependent.

Are we right? Thanks.
