Thanks to all. That's what I figured, but I wanted to be
safe.

there is a line at the end of the expense section of page
one called "other expenses", just above total expenses.
You attach a separate schedule listing those other expenses
and amounts with the total on that line on page one.

Line 20, with any other deductions/expenses.

Enter it on the line for "Other deductions" and attach a
schedule if there are several items ... but if it's the only
one, simply write "Advertising" on the line in the space
available.

You can put that on line 20 (Other Deductions) if it is the
only expense you had that had no special line for it. You
can, if you need to do so, make a list of all your other
deductions on a separate page of paper and place the total
of those items on line 20.

Default 1065/Advertising question

I have a small side business which is more like a hobby.
Gross is less than $500 this year. My wife and I started an
LLC for it. While filling out the 1065, I do not see a place
to deduct advertising. I placed a one time ad in the local
paper ~$20.00. Where would this come off?

Thanks for any help,

John
