While the Fund might tell you this information is there to
help you understand the Fund's performance, they rfeally put
it there to confuse you no end. And to get you to write
messages such as this one.

Just ignore that figure. It is alrready incuded on the
Fund's ordinary dividend amount.

And if you notice closely, the short-term gain amount is not
associated with any Form 1099-DIV box number.

short-term capital gains, should that be treated as a short
term capital gain or as an ordinary dividend (not
qualified)?
