The question in my mind is why should you care what it lists
for your 2002 AGI?

You asked this in more appropriate groups also, and nobody
seemed to see a big deal: override the numbers that bother
you.

This sounds like something you should ask Intuit Technical
Support.

As a guess, I'd say that when it imports data from another
product, it only grabs the parts that it needs to produce
this year's return, and doesn't bother with the historical
data.

Why bother? The 2002 numbers are only so it can produce the
useless comparison between 2002 and 2003 that they charged
you $$ for. You can do the same thing by plopping the two
returns down in front of you. Preferably with a cocktail in
hand.

If you have an uncontrollable need to have those 2002
numbers right in your 2003 program, override them.

Default A question about my AGI as it appears in TurboTax Deluxe 2003

This year I am using TurboTax Deluxe 2003. Last year I used TaxCut 2002.

I am at the place in the TurboTax interview in which it is
showing me my adjusted gross income (AGI). It shows it to
me for what it has calculated it to be for 2003, and it
should be showing it to me for what it pulled out of the
TaxCut 2002 data, which it imported. The problem is that
ALL of the values for 2002 are $0.00. That makes no sense
whatsoever. Even when I look at the form that I printed out
last year (for 2002), I see values for my 2002 AGI which are
not $0.00.

So, the question is, what's happened with TurboTax Deluxe
2003? Why didn't it "see" those values, when it clearly saw
other things? (For example, it has successfully pulled in
my demographic information such as my name, spouse's name,
children's names, address, SSN's for everyone, etc.)

And then I guess a better question is, how do I fix it in TT
Deluxe 2003, so that it has the correct values for the AGI,
etc?
