Does the so-called "twenty question test" say that you
were an employee or an independent contractor? If the
former, there's nothing you can do. If the facts and
circumstances of your work and work conditions say you
are an employee and not an IC, you are an employee, like
it or not.

Default Received W-2 instead of 1099-MISC

If I file as a regular employee, then I cannot deduct my
expenses such as health insurance premiums, travel, meals,
car, computer, etc.

Has anyone been in the same boat as me. Looking for "bright"
ideas.

Thanks

Jumbo.
