Just a few questions. How long did you live there? more
than 2 years? Are you single/married and sell for
$250K/$500K more than you paid for it? You may not have any
capital gains. Basic is all you would need. Try either Tax
Cut or TurboTax. If you don't feel comfortable, seek
professional advice.

Any version will do the job. The differences are in the
level of help, advice, and guidance that you get, not
functional capabilities. If you have to file a state tax
return, you should get Deluxe, at least, because it includes
a free download of one state program. The extra cost over
Basic is less than you would pay to buy the state
separately.

Do the capital gains that you mentioned come from selling
the condo, or from stocks, bonds, or mutual funds? If you
sold securities, the Premier version has a more detailed
interview that MIGHT be helpful, but it costs somewhat more
than Deluxe.

Default Which TurboTax to get?

Last year I sold my condo and bought a new one, and I have
some capital gains to deal with for this year's taxes. I
thought I would try TurboTax. Which version (Basic, Deluxe,
Premier) should I get?

Thanks!
