Its quite possible to be considered a resident of two
states. Each state has its own rules defining residency.

Not sure if its possible.
You would need to research the matter in both states.

Default Taxed as full time resident by two states?

I own a home and consider myself "domiciled" in CT, but I am
living and working on a multi-year temporary assignment in
MA (renting a house, and live there more than 183 days a
year). It looks like both CT and MA want me to file taxes
as a resident. Is this possible, or do I somehow have to
choose one over the other?

I would prefer to have only one resident state (without
selling my CT home), so I don't have to be taxed on my
non-wage income by both states.
