| I own a home and consider myself "domiciled" in CT, but I am living and working on a multi-year temporary assignment in MA (renting a house, and live there more than 183 days a year). It looks like both CT and MA want me to file taxes as a resident. Is this possible, or do I somehow have to choose one over the other? I would prefer to have only one resident state (without selling my CT home), so I don't have to be taxed on my non-wage income by both states. << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
