I am sorry, but I do not think that will do any good. I apologize if I get the details wrong, but it works something like this: During the initial smtp handshaking, the verizon server (as recipient of your email) will ask your smtp server whether it accepts bounces. If not, the verizon server will not accept your message. I posted your message on the verizon-customer-specific newsgroup about emails after the following (Jeremy is (IIRC) the Verizon person who answers these things on the newsgroup): - quote - > Jeremy, or anyone else:
I certainly hope you are addressing emails to verizon> The following was asked on the tax newsgroup misc.taxes.moderated, by > the moderator, Dick Adams. > Could you give him an authoritative answer about what to do to get > verizon to accept his emails? subscribers to the correct domain, verizon.net, NOT verizon.com. -- Best regards Han email address is invalid << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

| Verizon.net is bouncing all e-mails I send to verizon users. I have tried contacting them by e-mail and by phone and I get the same response: Since you are not a verizon customer, we can't help you. So I would appreciate it if everyone who is a verizon customer will send an e-mail to abuse[at]verizon.net complaining that my e-mails are not getting through to you.
