That requirement makes about as much sense as the one that decrees if block 2 is more than 50% of block 1, you can't efile. I interpret that as meaning the IRS doesn't want to see such W-2s. __ Art Kamlet ArtKamlet [at] AOL.com Columbus OH K2PZH << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

(there is also a box 14 that says 100%) I thought > since I paid with aftrer tax money it was tax free benefits > and the w-2 should show that? it straightened out quickly. As far as I know, if you paid for the disability policy yourself, you should not even be getting a W2. The mistake is likely at the level of the insurance company. --ron << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
