I can't speak to the 1120S as I have never seen their
pricing on that (more on that later however), but I can
speak to the 1040.

Keep in mind that while pricing does vary by region and
franchise, I can almost promise you it will cost more to
have the return prepared in an office, versus the cost of
TaxCut. That said, I know they can estimate the pricing for
you, and that you have the right to walk without filing and
at no charge to you if you don't like the pricing.

The 1120S is different. I know in the region I am most
familiar with, that Biz returns are prepared in their
premium offices, which are more expensive all around.

If you have the time, head into an office, and get either an
estimate or a return prepared and then decide if you want to
pay.

Default TaxCut vs going to H&R Block

Approximately how much does H and R block charge for a very
simple 1040 and 1120S (Sub-chapterS Corporation).

I was considering doing it myself again this year using
TaxCut. Then, i thought, why not just pay about the same
money and have them do it. Then I don't need to donwload
all the software and clutter up my computer. .

Any thoughts.
