David is a great guy. And a very good "quoter" so you will
show up only as the gentleman you are. Now, if someone gets
the article, let me know, I'd love a faxed copy.

Yes, Jack. Glad you asked. I don't remember what the
question was but my answer was:
"This is why God created the tax professional!!"

David Woods, EA chimed in with:
"Does that mean the Devil created the Internal Revenue Code?"

Following quickly was Dick with:
"The sole responsibility for the creation of the Internal
Revenue Code rests with the two chambers of the United States
Congress. If the Devil had been involved, the IRC might
actually be more efficient, more logical, and less maligned.
<The Devil made me write that> <g> "

I got such a kick out of it I printed it and framed it and
hung it in my office for the whole world to see.

Perhaps naevity has to do with self imposed constraints on
my liberty!!!=

There is an article, concerning MTM, which I believe will
appear in the New York Times on Sunday, or Monday, by that
very great writer on tax issues, (the very conservative=
David Cay Johnston!! The request was made for his
consideration of what might be addressed in that article.

He may very well be headed for another Pulitzer Prize (the
3rd) with his new best seller.

Hopefully, he will treat my verbiage kindly. I'm very proud
of this newsgroup and I know there are so many of you who
are so much better qualified to represent a view of MTM. He
really does seem like a very nice person. In his works he
represents much of what I believe!!! 'n' most of you know
about my conservatism!!!=

Thank You!!=

I can't think of any at the moment, but I'm sure I could
come up with some new ones if you like.

Do any of you remember any fascinating/great/loony questions,
contributed to MTM, which you think might be of interest to
a piece (for potential publication) which I don't know that
I am at liberty to discuss, for the moment??? -
