| I had some retirement plans closed out for me from a couple of companies I used to work for. I elected to have the distributions made directly to me as I was not working this year. I am not retired (age 33) and am not sure how to report these payments made to me for my taxes this year. Also, I am unsure how to report the withholdings that were made for these payments (there was both federal and state withholdings automatically made). Should I be receiving any documents related to the payments, a 1099 perhaps? Any help would be appreciated, Kevin << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
