Yes, we do hold our members to a higher educational standard
then the IRS does.

They should be out shortly, I would bet by the end of the
year. You can write the office of professional
responsibility at opr[at]irs.gov and see if the page will
suffice.

Thank you. I do plan on becoming an NAEA member. Is it
true that IRS requires 16 CPE hours/year but the NAEA
requires 30 hours/year?

Also, does anyone know when the grade letters (notice of
pass/fail) will be mailed out? Form 23 (Application for
Enrollment before IRS) requests a copy of this letter. I'd
like to file Form 23 as soon as possible, naturally. Does
anyone think I could send a printout of the IRS webpage
showing my passing grades in lieu of this IRS letter?

thanks -

Congrats! May I be the first to invite you to join the
National Association of Enrolled Agents? Check us out at

And yes, it is nice to see progress. It is about time.

Default 2003 SEE results now available

As a 2003 SEE candidate I'm very pleased to note that the
exam results have been made available today at:
http://www.irs.gov/app/cgi-bin/see-lookup.cgi

I'm also pleased to see that I passed!

You'll need your Candidate Number & PIN from your form 2587
acknowledgement letter you received in August.

With all the recent changes in the IRS Office of Professional
Responsibility, they deserve congratulations for speeding
along the exam grading process. Progress is nice.
