No. But conversely, if you contributed all your money in PA
and moved to a state that taxes retirement funds, you would
have to pay THAT state tax.

I actually contributed when I lived in another state, and
then moved to Pennsylvania. Does this change the situation?

contributions to your traditional IRA.

taxable at the state level if you are retired.

If I convert Traditional IRA money to Roth IRA money, would
I have to pay PA state tax on the conversion amount?
