5 out of the my last 8 post were not received or not posted
I thought they may have been deleted for a reason??

Interesting. I haven't deleted a legitimate submission
in years. Plus since you are an E.A., I would have sent
you a note if I had a problem with tone. And everyone
knows, I'm getting too loose on tone.

My problem is just the opposite! I frequently get replies
but not the original post. Unless the person replying
includes the original question, I can only guess at the
information provided from what the reply says.

It could still have something to do with the exact path from
Dick's machine to your ISP's newsserver.

Misc.taxes.moderated's posts would generally all originate
from Dick's location, while that for another group (take
misc.invest.financial-plan since I moderate there <grin> )
would start from another. If there's some quirk between
your ISP and Dick's posting location, that could affect this
group and no other (or only those moderated groups and
posters to unmoderated groups that originate from the same
location as Dick).

In general, no. But, I'm always unsure if any of the
questions have been 'replied to' at that time.

and it doesn't have anything to do with "nodes" I don't
think, for other various newsgroups get posted on bellsouth
daily, even hourly.

There was a long dry spell down here from about last Friday
through thursday (yesterday). Then the dam broke. Goes like
that, in fits and starts, vallies and peaks, hot and cold,
etc.

I don't know what he means. I've seen some messages
posted this (Friday) morning.

I think I've got the problem resolved, but, if you E-mail me
and it bounces, a second try might work.
However, please reply in newsgroup.
