I just thought it was misleading to post a number like that
without clarification. Thanks for clarifying and hope all
that saw this post sees that one.

I got mine (yes, I get a copy, I help out) on Tuesday. If
you don't get yours soon, you may want to try and call the
area that you tested at.

Helen, the passing scores listed above are from the 2002
results letter (sent March 19, 2003). They indicated that
the Passing Score was 60% of the total points available
(175, 175, 175, 120) in each Part, with the Minimum
Retention Score equal to 90% of the Passing Score. As I
recall, they have used this scoring level for the past
several years.

Those were the passing scores last year. Not necessarily
this year, although 60% correct will be close.

Thanks, Herb. Hopefully the booklets will show up one of
these days.

Herb, did they stop using the bell curve? If not, what you
need for a score would not be known.

You can calculate your own unofficial score, once they
return your test booklet to you. Passing score for
Parts 1-3 is 105, for Part 4 is 72.

Your results will not be available for 90 days, give or take.

The questions and answers for Parts 1 and 2 of the Special
Enrollment Exam are now on the IRS website. Parts 3 and 4
will be posted around October 1, after all locations have
taken the test.
