There is no "rebate" being offered. There is, however, an
advance on the child tax credit which you can read all about
by going to www.irs.gov. Most of the checks have already
been mailed.

In general it's based off your 2002 Form 1040. If you had a
qualifying child then, you'll get a check (or should have
gotten a check). If you have a qualifying child on your
2003 return and didn't get a check, you'll get the full

Have kind of lost track on what's happening re this:

On Bush's tax "rebate":

a. How is it being distributed ?

By check, tax credit of 2003 1040, or... ?

b. If by check, when are they being distributed, and in what order ?

c. How is it calculated ?
