Actually, that *particular* default (top posting) isn't one
that Microsoft makes available to the user. If you quote,
you end up with top posting <grin> .

Although I do not use Outlook Express I am reasonably
certain that the default can be changed by the user. That is
certainly the case with both Free Agent and Netscape
Navigator's news reader.
