If you do use the online SS-4, have a pen handy. Once the
EIN is assigned it will only show the EIN on the screen for
20 to 30 seconds. Dont rely on printing the screen either.
I have heard of numerous instances where a blank page was
printed.

On Monday I anticipate filling out my first Online SS-4.
Looking at the website the first thing I see are the types
of entities that can't use the service. One such entity is
"Limited Liability Company (LLC) without entity types".
What does this mean? Will there be a check the box item for
entity type to be taxed as?
