Why do you need more time beyond 10/15?

Default When / Under What circumstances.. can you get an extension to file for taxes ?

US Taxes

When / Under What circumstances.. can you get an extension to file
for taxes beyond Oct 15th for the following ?

1. Personal Income taxes ...1040
2. Partnership Return taxes......1165
3. LLC Return in california ?

Pls. let me know if there are any rules/regulations that I
need to follow.

Which Forms to fill ?

Is it easy to get an extension ?

Any other info.
