If the parking ticket is not legal, the law is flawed or the way in which it is enforced is a violation of law, and is paid as business expedient can it be deducted? -- Frederick E. FYI - in many jurisdictions (for sure here in MD) you are only allowed to use a meter for the full initial term of the meter, you are not allowed (legally) to refill the meter to gain extra time. Once your time has run out you are supposed to move your car to another meter. This is done in MD to promote customer traffice in business areas. MD Meter Maids (can I still call them that?) in Annapolis and Ocean City will "chalk" your tires and note the time, they then (are supposed to) return later and compare the chalk marks. If you car has not moved but has been parked longer than the time limit of the meter you can be ticketed. Gene E.
