How this saves money I have no idea, but someone, somewhere has a powerpoint slide showing dollars spend shipping bulk Pub 17s before and after the policy change. Far fewer bulk shipments. That slide probably doesn't show # of individual packaged and shipped Pub 17s. ===== Personal Gripe: Pub 17 used to really be useful. Now it just acts as a big set of pointers to other Pubs :-( __ Art Kamlet ArtKamlet [at] AOL.com Columbus OH K2PZH << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

AFAIK all materials produced for public use are in the> by tax professionals in seminars and workshops? public domain. For example, Pub 17 includes a mention that all information may be reprinted freely. Look for a copyright on the material. If it isn't there, you're in business.
