Default Deducating Educational Expense

First, thanks to you guys for such a informative group.

Now, my question is this:

I am taking IT and other business skill related classes that
my company is not paying for. I will be making more than
$50k so it looks like that I will not be eligable for any
"Education Tax Credits". Nor will do I have enough
deduction to itemize. Am I SOL on the possibility of
deducting these expenses?
