Agree.

I remember in the past there was a local tv station with a
program called "Crime Stoppers', maybe it was "Crime
Solvers". Anyway, the advertisement said that "you could
win up to 1,000$ for information leading to the arrest of
.... AND you won't even have to give your name or address."

Seems I remember the minimum for which a 1099-misc is to be
given for an award (or prize) is 600$. I wonder how they
did that.

Would it be politically wise for the U.S. to
