I'm really quite happy to be using UT, and have only very
minor gripes with it. For example, most input screens/entry
lines can be found by placing the cursor on the appropriate
line of the Form Screen and selecting the input screen.
But sometimes it doesn't and then it becomes a real search
to find the right Input Screen.

And UT's data sharing is both a great benefit, allowing, for
example, entry of the EIN to auto-fill Employer's name &
address, and a pain in the neck for employers who have
several Names/addresses for a single EIN.

For example, a company's W-2s might have a totally different
name and address from its 1099-R's, and you would like UT's
datasharing to use one EIN for W-2s and a different Name &
Address for the same EIN for 1099's.

Or I'd like to be able to select from a list of different
DFAS Names/Addresses, each with the same EIN.

It also does carry forward's pretty well, and does a good
job flowing federal to state. It does a less impressive job
on Ohio Cities when several cities are involved.

But personally, I'm happy with it.

I have used tax relief for over 10 years and the thought of
having to learn another program is depressing. Does anyone
here use UltraTax and what do people think of it??

Thanks

Ian
