I just changed to Wachovia Bank for similar reasons. I haven't fully tested
it yet, but so far it seems to work fine.

It seems that BofA has no intention of direct-supporting MS Money, and their
1-way 'support' leaves much to be desired

Their 'Customer Support' doesn't even know what Ms Money is, and they said
that I should contact Microsoft..

I use Fleet Bank which will become part of BOA very shortly. I have NEVER used
the automatic download since I had checkfree years ago. Fleet offers FREE bill
payment. I use that but don't integrate with Money. It is no big deal to spend
a few minutes a month paying bills on line and recording them manually, but
correctly in Money. I think people get so hung up about these automatic
downloads that they lose track of how much time they spend fixing the download
problems. My only downloads are my investments download once a week. Steve

Finally Someone feels my pain! I HATE BofA right now! I've been
complaining about this issue for the past 6 months to them as well. I
am so frustrated with them I am about to move banks. I know I'm not
the only one and I KNOW its not that hard to fix. I could do it in
about 30 min.

Does anyone have any recommendations on banks that have good online
systems that actually work?

BTW... BofA is totally messing up the format...
They fill in the <Name> field with the first characters of the MEMO
field instead of the actual name.

Default Bank of America Customers

For all of you that are as frustrated as me at BofA for screwing up the way
they list Payees please log onto your account and send a message to their
customer service department. Here is copy of message I sent them earlier
today. Maybe if they get enough complaints they will get off their behinds
and do something about it.

thx.

About 6 months ago BofA changed the format of how Payees are shown on
downloaded statements. So now when we download the statement into MS Money
or Quicken the Payee shows up as:

"INTERLINK NETWORK TRANS 0334139 ON 06-09 CUSTOMER 9663633400"

It does not even list the actual name of the Payee in the field. This makes
your downloadable statements completely useless. Sure I can download the
entire transaction detail in the Memo field, but then I have to go thru and
manually change every transaction, and it is making the data file much
larger than it needs to be. Please tell me if this is something BofA is
going to fix, or something we just have to get used to. I was told almost
two months ago that the problem was being worked on. If you're not going to
fix it, you might be losing me as a customer. I've been with BofA for
almost 20 years, but this is not acceptable in these days where everything
is electronic.
