| Check that the accounts that the transactions for this category appear in are marked as accounts in your budget (you don't have to use the budget though) and see whether the thermometers now show values. -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | wish I had an answer for you on this. I have seen several other post with this problem over the last few months, but don't think it's a money bug as mine works fine. Wish I knew how to help. Might try deleting them and recreating them. | I have the same problem for all categories. For example, the phone category always shows $0 when I have entered both my phone charges. I have Money 2004. Is this a Money bug? | One other possibility may be that you've excluded this account from the budget. I believe that that may also cause that account to be excluded. | A spending thermometer registers for spending in a category, not for the account. Because of this, you should see a thermometer for a particular category in either account (if you are viewing the feedback in the register) or perhaps you are seeing the thermometer on the homepage. What category is the thermometer displaying? If you are seeing the feedback in the register, the thermometer you see should reflect the category of the transaction you have highlighted. | I have three accounts in money. When I enter a transaction into checking #1, the spending thermometer registers for that category. In the other checking account the spending thermometer is always at $0 no matter what category I enter a transaction into. It does not register even if I register the EXACT SAME transaction that I put into checking #1. How do I get the spending thermometer to include ALL my accounts?? |
