I converted an older Q to Money03 deluxe. I converted 3 data files
consisting of credit card, bank, and stock investments. It was NOT
painless. I had to find missing and incorrect entries and make the
necessary changes. I do not remember all of the details as it was
over a year ago. My only reason for the switch was because Q does not
support stock options.

I would take advantage of the Money trial. If you are going to use
automatic transaction updating (downloading) then you should go for
the Deluxe for the 3 yr support. Note that some. like Discover Card,
do not support manual transaction downloading.

The switch was not difficult for me but was time consuming.

Not until M2005 comes out - no definite dates but usually in Aug or Sept.

It is built into Money but one version back. So M2004 can't convert Q2004
but can handle Q2003.
