| Archiving is broken in too many ways to be listed here. Read the FAQ articles on archiving at http://umpmfaq.info/qselect.php. | Many of us say DO NOT ARCHIVE. As you have painfully found out it doesn't do what you expect. I have been running since M95 and have never archived. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. | Hi All: I'm trying to reduce the size of my Money 2003 file. I figured that I'd use the archiving feature. However, after archiving, the balances on all my accounts are messed up. It seems that Money just moves the transactions that meet the archiving criteria but doesn't take that into account when calculating the balances of the accounts. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick to archiving so that the account balances are not "messed up"? Any help is appreciated. Joe |
