Then mouse or <Shift> +<Tab> to the Total box. Key in the price in USD, and press <F8> or right-click to the currency converter. The total should then be corrected to CAD. The still-blank Price will then be computed by Money to the correct CAD amount. Does that correspond to what you want to accomplish, or have I misunderstood the problem? Perhaps a user who actually deals with this can comment on a better way. |

| I am using the above software. I have set up a CAD$ investment account. I go to enter a US$ SELL transaction, of a US security in this account. I right click on the enter field, and enter the currency conversion factors, then click OK, Money needs to increase the amount in Canadian Dollars. On a sell transaction it should adjust the commission to handle the exchange differences. Problem is, on a SELL transaction, the net proceeds are larger in CAD$ than in US$ dollars. Hence the commission field is negative. Money generates an error reading "Based on the details of this transaction, the total should be xxx.xx To adjust the total click OK..." Has anyone seen this error before, and know the solution to this? I have been dealing with Microsoft support for 21 days on this, to no avail. PLease advise. Thanks! |
