Money will only offer to backup to a DVD burner if the DVD burner looks like
a removable disk to the operating system. This typically requires packet
writing software like InCD or Drag-to-Disc.

Can you copy a notepad file direct to your DVD?

If this is a continuation of some other series of postings, it would
have been better to keep your discussions on that same thread.

Did people respond to you on the other thread? Were they unclear?

You might want to say what version of Money and OS you are talking
about.

Default backing up money

I should have made myself clear. I can change the
directoy to where Money will backup the file when I exit
the program.

What I can not change is the directory where it askes for
an automatic FLOPPY backup every so many days. I would
like an automatic backup every two weeks to my DVD burner.

One of those things I work around by backing up all my
working file on a routine basis.

Thanks

Michael
