| Previously I used the Small Business version of Money 2003. I decided to quit using it for two reasons. First, I need to be able to import invoice batches from a file, which it doesn't seem to be able to do. Second, I think it would be a good idea to keep my business finances in a completely seperate file, despite the fact that Microsoft Money can keep business accounts seperate from personal accounts in one file--that just seemed a bit messy to me. Now I have a new computer which came with Microsoft Money 2004. Of course, this isn't the small business version. Although it seems to work fine and I've been using it for a few weeks like this, it keeps nagging me when I open my file that because there is business data stored in it, I need to buy the business version of Money 2004. So the question is, how do I get rid of the business data in my Money file without buying the 2004 Business version of Money or having to re-enter all of the data I've entered since I upgraded from the 2003 version? Also, in cases where a personal account was used to make a business purchase, how can I change all of these split business/personal categories to instead be a split transfer to say, a fake cash account used to track how much the business owes me, without having to click through each and every transaction? Thanks, Jeff |
