It will not be listed if you don't have an associated cash account. You will
need to create one (rename the account, the box is there) and then schedule
the transaction(s) from the associated cash account rather than the
investment account

Go to the investment account details, and click on an option (near the
bottom) to include that account in the budget.

You should visualize the budget as one entity, containing a number of
accounts (which can be both bank and investment accounts).

OK I see your point, but I don't know how to move the accounts that
produce these income.

I mean: the budget is done within the "bank account", while the
trasfers come from one of the "investment accounts".
To follow your suggestion I ought to include at least one of the
"investment accounts" into the bank account.
Aside from the big difference among the two family of accounts, as the
bank's one have daily movements and a lot of payee, categories etc,
while the invetment's one is totally different,
I have not been able to find a way to do that operation: i.e. to move
it into the budget.
Will you be so kind to give me an hint to do that ?

Thanks for your time.

If you keep one of the accounts 'outside' of the budget (hence showing the
transfer), you cannot see the transactions that create these transfers, as
they are noted in this way. You MUST move the account into the budget if you
wish to use any scheduled bills/deposits that the investment account has in
the budget.

I have no problems "to see" these trasfers. I would only like to
budget them, as I can forecast dates and amounts.
BTW all these amounts become parts of my current earnings and would be
nice to have them budgeted toghether with other income and expenses.

Thanks for support

You should put the investment account into the budget if you don't want to
see 'transfers' from that account. The investment account cannot be a
tax-deferred account though

These transactions refer to amounts which come into and go out of the
budget, so aren't really things which you specifically add.

Sorry to add my question to the previous one, as I take the
opportunity to clarify a problem I have on the same matter:
How may I put in my budget these transfers ?
I mean :
I have some schedulable trasfers from an investment account that will
reverse into my bank account interests and dividend. When they occur I
have "trasfers into budget accounts". But I am unable to use planner
and forecast these transfers within my current year budget.

I hope my english is enough clear !
Thanks
Manlio

This is for scheduled transfers which have one account in the budget and the
other account not. So, the transfer either removes money from the budget
pot, or puts it in.
