From what I remember I used to edit fipartnr.ini, but this is now stored in
Money\System\Mode0.cab and Money\System\Mode1.cab

Can I just edit these files and add the appropriate information to the end
(as I used to do) or will MM02 puke and over write the cab files?

Thanks

Richard

I use this utility to get my German Bank statements into UK Money 2004.
I don't know if it includes a script for Deutsche Bank, but if you can
download statements in MT940 format, you should be in business.

Hi Glyn,
I am using 2002 in Spain and need to download from Deutsche Bank (as it has
no direct online setup in Money). How can I do this?

Thanks

The download is different in 2002 than in 97. In 97 it used to make direct
connections through the modem (if my memory serves me correctly). In 2002 it
partly depends on what you bank supports - the US has a huge number of
directly connected banks, whereas in the UK we have one-way only banks where
you connect to the bank's website and download transactions from there into
Money.

You should be able to download from UK banks with no modifications to the
files in Money. Unfortunately we only have one bank (Nationwide) which
allows direct connections from within Money and so you mostly have to
download from their websites.

Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny
for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. To send Microsoft your wishes or
suggestions, use http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp
or email mnyukwsh[at]microsoft.com especially if it's a UK specific wish.

I do not respond to any unsolicited email regarding Money

Default Foreign Banks

Is there a Microsoft Money package out there which will let me download data
from US and UK banks? I used to edit the necessary files in Money 97, but
believe that I cannot do this with 2002 as the data file is stored in a CAB.

I currently use Money 2002 (US)

Thanks

Richard
