Maybe it's only in some parts of country because I get the same thing.
Transactions show up like:

INTERLINK NETWORK TRANS 613 ON 05-12 CUSTOMER 9355148314 PAYMENT TO SAFEWAY
STORE 17 LINCOLN CA

I emailed BofA about it and here is response. I suggest everyone that has
this problem shoot off an email to them. It affects Quicken and Money.

================
Thank you for your e-mail.

We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced as a result of
the recent changes to downloaded transactions. We regret that we are
unable to provide an option to alter the appearance of transactions
downloaded to MS Money. To view the location of a purchase, please
click on the memo field under Interlink Network.

Please be assured that we are working on a solution to this issue. When
the solution is implemented, the merchant name and ATM information will
once again be listed first in the transaction description for debit card
and ATM transactions. We regret, however, that we are unable to provide
an estimated timeframe for resolution.

We ask for your continued patience in this matter as we work to resolve
this issue.

If we may be of further assistance, please contact us again by e-mail.
Thank you for choosing Bank of America.

Sincerely,

Mai Nguyen
Bank of America

I'm with Bank of America and don't have that problem. The bank's site
shows them correctly and they download correctly. I did have a problem
at one time but it was in Money changing the names and not the bank.
You might want to check your settings.

Default I'm I the only one pissed off at BofA for changing the format they use for reporting transactions?

Instead of putting the location where the transaction took place, the
transaction entry now starts with: BANK CARD PURCHASE
0980980923482348923
WTF is that? Now I'm forced to manually change the payee so that the
transactions auto-classify.
Am I the only one noticing this? If not, please send an email to them
about it through their site. Maybe if enough people complain they'll
fix this problem. Its a long shot, but worth a try.
