Dick you are a genius - by removing online services for
this account it opened the account number to editing.

Deleting the financial institution in account details won't effect any of
your transaction data. But ALWAYS have a backup plan just in case.

Thanks for your response. I thought about that but I have
about 5 years of history I'd rather not lose.

Delete the financial institution associated with the account and then begin
anew.

Default wrong account number in investment portfolio

My 401k investment has the incorrect account number so
when I try to down load my latest transactions it see
nothin. I can see the account number when I go to account
details but it is grayed out so I can't change it.
I just upgraded to 2004 deluxe so I could automatically
download my transactions, but it won't happen until I can
change the account number.
Any ideas?

Thanks.
