| Dan, Assuming both your credit card accounts and your payment accounts are set up in Money, they will show as transfers if you categorize the payment as a "Credit Card Payment:[card account name]" when you set up the bill. In fact, you could also set it up as a transfer to start with but I recommend the former. You mentioned deposits and withdrawals which doesn't make it clear to me how you're categorizing the bill when you set it up. If I haven't addressed your question properly, post back with more detail on how you set up your credit card payments. Thanks. | Turn off transaction forms. Change one of the register entries from some kind of expense/income to Transfer:[other account] (in one of the two transactions) and void the other. This should get you there. You will definitely have to void--or delete--one of the pair, however. I knew a Dan Orth once, did you used to work at the DCF facility? | Hi- I have quite a few credit card payments that were "deposits" and "withdrawals" in MSM 2004. Since they are more accurately just transfers I was wondering if there is an easy way to change them. I try to edit them and then click on the transfer tab but it just prompts me to create a new transaction. The only way I have found this to work is to create an entirely new transaction with the same date and information which I don't want to have to do for everyone. Any help would be greatly appreaciated! Thanks! -Dan |
