Robert,

Thanks for the advice. I tried but it did not work.

It seems that I had to start a new file in order for the numbers to be

It seems that I had to start a new file in order for the numbers to be
correct. If I tried to use a current file I kept getting the same errors.

What I did was create a new file. Export the old data to a "qif" file ,
import the "qif" into the new file and now it works fine.

Actually a lot of unnecessary work with setting up all the electronic
connections, balancing all the accounts, but so it goes... Money 2004 was
the top reason for purchasing the iPAQ so I'm obliged to make it work.

Thanks for your feed back,
Best Regards
Justin.

Justin,

You are not alone!

There is a problem with the balances synchronizing between Money 2004 on
the PC and Money 2004 on PocketPC if you are restricting the number of
transactions that are synchronized. If you select all transactions, then
the balances stay in sync.

This seems to be exacerbated when you have Money balances displayed on
the Today screen, and midnight rolls around and the Today Screen updates
itself.

Robert

Default Money 2004 and Pocket PC 2003

Hello all,

I have installed Money for Pocket PC from the 2004 CD, on to a HP iPAQ h2215
Pocket PC
The iPAQ runs Microsoft® Windows® Mobile 2003 Premium software for Pocket
PC/
On my desktop PC (windows XP) I'm using ActiveSync 3.7.1.

After I sync the accounts they show the different values in my checking
account on the Pocket PC then in the checking account on the PC based money,
Then on subsequent Syncs it gets worse. I can't find any correlation between
the two figures.
I've un/reinstalled the Pocket PC, but when I sync again I get the same
results, even the same numbers (more or less).

Where are these numbers coming from?
Any ideas?

Thanks
Justin
