| It sounds like your Money Program has been damaged. I searched my computer for this file and I don't have it. My copy of Money works perfectly. I suggest reinstalling Money after a PROPER uninstall and hopefully addressing the inevitable Windows problems this will cause with a top-notch diagnostic utility like Norton System Works (I'm thinking Norton WinDoctor). For your sake, I hope their is no damage to other Windows files and that you back up your Money file to a Floppy religiously, since this is what you would want to "restore from back up ) after a clean reinstall of Money. Lets hope that there's no damage to your hard drives (surface damage). If not, this should do it. Do you have "mbf4373" somewhere having kept more than one backup> After a shutdown of my PC due to a power supply blackout, > (and I was working in Money 2003), when I restarted the PC > and Money I got the message > money has detected that you did not close the > file "mbf4373" before exiting > Neither the money file or the backup kept in hard disk can > be restored.(as the pop us say are corrupt) > Does anybody know the message and is there a solution? file? Try doing a search for "*.mny *.mbf" to see if you have a fairly recent Money file or backup you have forgotten. You may also have success with salv.exe on the .mny file. |
