I would make an extra copy of your file in case you do not like the
result. Then go to Tools-> FindAndReplace and choose the Advanced
Search. After you do the Find portion, it will present a Replace
portion. There you can make changes to the Payee or Category, etc
for selected transactions.

Yuck -- I'm afraid you'll probably have to do one at a time. But
don't worry, as a veteran of similar operations, I can tell you
that muscle memory will kick in after about 100 items and it will
be much smoother from there on :-)

i have downloaded over a years worth of credit charges and
