I ran in to this problem. What eventually solved it for me was to
rename the bank, move one of the two accounts I have with the bank to
a new name, and set up services with it, making it think it was a
brand-new financial institution. Once it was working, I moved the
other account to it.

I suspect it that there's some type of corruption in the database
description of the finacial institution. I went round-and-round with
MS Tech Support before something they suggested made me think of doing
the above.

Default "Your Password must be exactly 0 characters."

My bank has recently changed it web services provider, so I've had to
disable & re-enable online services. When I try to set-up online services,
I get to the "Log on to (bank)" page in Money2004, where it asks for my User
ID: & Password. Under password, it has the message, "Your Password must be
exactly 0 characters." No matter what I type, it complains with a message
box:
"Your password cannot contain alphabetic characters"
"Your password cannot contain numeric characters"
"Your password cannot contain special characters"
"You must enter a User ID and Password" (if I leave it blank)

All of these messages are produced my Money without attempting to connect to
my bank.

How do I reset how it thinks my bank wants? (I did an "Update Now" with
"Get the Latest Money updates" checked several times)
