| FYI, here is response from BofA. Thank you for your e-mail. We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced as a result of the recent changes to downloaded transactions. We regret that we are unable to provide an option to alter the appearance of transactions downloaded to MS Money. To view the location of a purchase, please click on the memo field under Interlink Network. Please be assured that we are working on a solution to this issue. When the solution is implemented, the merchant name and ATM information will once again be listed first in the transaction description for debit card and ATM transactions. We regret, however, that we are unable to provide an estimated timeframe for resolution. We ask for your continued patience in this matter as we work to resolve this issue. If we may be of further assistance, please contact us again by e-mail. Thank you for choosing Bank of America. I've just been manually entering every single Payee, but that's a pain. I> either "BANK CARD PURCHASE..." or "INTERLINK NETWORK TRANS...". This > only happens with the checking account at Bank of America - the BOFA > credit account data imports fine. > I tried all 3 msmoney import methods - all the same. So what should I > do??? Switch to Quicken 2004??? think our only option is to hope the folks at MS read this forum and will implement wild cards in Money 2005 or send off an email to BofA customer service. It worked fine until about 2 or 3 months ago. I'm pretty sure Quicken users have the same problem. Here is the email I just sent to BofA customer service. Maybe if we all get together and complain, they will fix it: ======== Not sure what you all did recently, but you made it much more difficult to import transactions into Microsoft Money. The Transactions now show up like this: "INTERLINK NETWORK TRANS 613 ON 05-12 CUSTOMER 355148314 PAYMENT TO SAFEWAY STORE 17 LINCOLN CA" and Microsoft Money cannot interpret that payee name. This just started a month or two ago. Please go back to the old way, where the Payee was just listed as "Safeway Store 17". thx. ========= |

| I have the same problem. All payees and memos are messed up with either "BANK CARD PURCHASE..." or "INTERLINK NETWORK TRANS...". This only happens with the checking account at Bank of America - the BOFA credit account data imports fine. I tried all 3 msmoney import methods - all the same. So what should I do??? Switch to Quicken 2004??? |

| BofA did something a couple months ago that really messes things up when you try to import in to Money. There are two or three different formats you can download from at BofA website. One of them (can't remember which, but it's not the one that used to work) will import in to money like this: INTERLINK NETWORK TRANS 613 ON 05-12 CUSTOMER 9355148314 PAYMENT TO SAFEWAY STORE 17 LINCOLN CA But then you have to go thru and manually select the correct payee for each transaction because Money can't figure out that this is Safeway. | When I download my checking account info - all I get for Payee information for my EFT debit is "bank card purchase" or "interlink netowrk trans" - no payee name, even though it appears in the on-line statement at B of A. Anyone know how to get all of the information transfered over? Thanks. |
