Money 2001 Crashing

Throw lap top out the window, use paper and pencil...number 2 pencil is top
of line and will never need an upgrade. screw techies

Decided to finally use the Money 2001 again that came
preloaded on my laptop. Now having a problem in that
when I try to set up my accounts from fresh at some point
in the process my laptop freezes and after 10 secs or so
sometimes switches off. Have up to date antivirus etc so
I don't think it is anything like that. Anyone have any
ideas? When I first got laptop I did use Money 2001 for
a while with no problems. Using XP with all recent MS
updates.
