You could enter a split of 10000 shares for 4334 shares or 5000 for> of the old stock. Money wouldn't let me enter a split for > any ratio not in whole integers. 2167 shares. - quote - > Is there another way to do this in the Standard version?

| I tried to do it manually like that but no luck for at least two reasons: 1. I already own two separate stocks that are both involved in the merger. It wouldn't let me rename two different stocks to the same new name. 2. The new "merged" stock is 1 share for each .4334 share of the old stock. Money wouldn't let me enter a split for any ratio not in whole integers. Is there another way to do this in the Standard version? Will upgrading to the Deluxe version help me? - quote - > -----Original Message----- > Here is how you will need to do it if you did not hold both stocks > involved in the merger. > Go to the Details for the old stock. Change the symbol, rename the stock, add an appropriate comment, and do an appropriate split to achieve the ratio you want. Post the ratio you are trying to achieve if you want a suitable ratio of integers to enter for the split. |

| I'm using Money 2004 Standard OEM version, and I need to record a merger. Money's help file tells me to display my portfolio and then, from the left-side menu, click "Record a Special Activity" and then choose "Record a Merger". However, my "Record a Special Activity" menu doesn't include anything about mergers. How can I record a merger with this program? |
