In Internet Explorer delete your browser temporary files with Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles. Then in Money do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair. If that does not fix things, I would also compare the QIF files to make sure that the files you download and the files you File-> Export both have the same mm-dd-yyyy vs dd-mm-yyyy order. |

I don't believe that I've done anything to my laptop (which used to accept downloading the transactions onto a floppy disk because the CDN bank does not support online downloading) and then I was reimporting them into the MMmoney 2004 program. All was fine. I then exported those same transactions (under a different name but still a "qif" file, back onto the floppy disk#2, went back > > to the laptop-(computer # 1) and imported the file.It worked beautifully. But the importing steps with this new file#2 are slightly different. With data disk #1 with File--import--PCF.qif ---it came up with "Import completed" With data disk #2 with File--import_May.qif--the prompt was: Import QIF to Money How do you wish to import this QIF file? O As a statement from my bank and then you say--OK So it would appear that something is missing with data disk # 1 (only with the laptop) . I had spoken to PC Financial and they said that it is not their downloading program as I was able to get the data into computer #2's MM2004 program. I had also uninstalled and reinstalled the MM2004 program , onto the laptop after I did some of trobleshooting I found in Knowledge base article 829143, but it still didn't help. (I hope this is clearer but if not keep asking.) - quote - > > Any ideas as to whats happening as I don't want to

| I have a strange problem. I don't believe that I've done anything to my laptop but my transactions to be downloaded don't appear even though it says "import completed" (being done on a floppy disk so I can have it on the laptop) --I also reinstalled the program and it's still doing the same thing. I went back to the reg computer and downloaded the transactions into the MM2004 program there, and then exported that file back onto the floppy disk, went back to the laptop and imported that file. Worked beautifully but this is a whole pile of extra work. One step is not showing up when I try to do it directly on the laptop though and that was to import the "Loose qif" step. Any ideas as to whats happening as I don't want to have to keep on going to this great extent just to have to import a few transactions. Thanks in advance Diane |
