If you open Update Prices > Update prices manually, you'll see that only one
price per security per day is recorded, along with an activity description.
If the description for that price is not an investment activity (buy, sell,
whatever) you won't see an event dot in the charts for that day for that
security. If you download quotes, chances are the activity description will
be "Online".

If you delete the "Online" or "Update" price for the day of the
buy/sell/whatever, then modify the original investment transaction (I
usually roll the day one day backward, then one day forward), you will now
see a "Buy", "Sell", etc in the price history, and will see an event dot in
the charts.

Making a copy of your Money file, then opening and modifying the copy, will
leave you with a path back if you encounter problems.

Default Price history Chart

I like to see the "BUY" date on the charts of my stocks in
the "price history" section, however on about half of my
charts there is no reference to the buy date. Does anyone
know why? Thanks
