1. I don't know a better way.

2. You can rename Worldcom to something else that is less of a
reminder..

3. You must take the loss, if you want to take the loss, on your
income tax on the year it becomes worthless. I think it trades as
WCOEQ today. I don't know if you can actually declare it worthless
yet even tho it will cost you more in commission to sell it than you
get from the stock. Ask your broker if he has a special deal for
such cases. Some will reduce the commission so you will not be in
the hole. Money will not allow you to sell for $10.00 and enter an
$11 commission for a negative total.

Default Deleting Worldcom

G'd day,

I'd like to stop reminding myself that I ever bought some
Worldcom every single time I open my portfolio, but I'd
like to keep the record. Is "selling" the stock for a
price of zero the only way to eliminate the line from my
portfolio?

thanx,

Ed
